((ooc: waiting for Tia to reply before doing Jack again :3 ))
Barbossa listened to Jack nattering as though he understood every word, chewing his way through the juicy apple. Once he had finished it, he threw it over his shoulder and got up. He strode over to a large trunk in the corner of the room and sighed as he bent over it and rummaged through it. Inside he found all of his things which had previously sat proudly in this room. He pulled out chandelabres(sp?), candles, his glass apple bowl, silver cups and jewellery and placed them carefully on the table in the middle of the table. He slammed the lid shut and began to do up the room to his taste, asking Jack for his opinion on where they should go. "I think this painting should hang over here, aye?" he frequently asked. Finally, when the room was once again in its majestic splendour, the candles flickering, casting a beautiful soft glow in the room, for night had fallen outside and they were the only source of light. Lastly, he placed the glass apple bowl in the middle of the table and emptied the apples into it as a finishing touch. he looked around the room in satisfaction and said "Come on Jack - got ta tend tyyo the wretched crew" he said to the monkey as he walked out of the door onto deck. The ship was sailing in the middle of open waters on a silent, calm ocean. He breathed in the salty air and looekd around at the crew who were muttering mutinously, glancing at him evilly. Barbossa heard an alarm bell ringing in his head - mutiny screamed out at him. He stood looking out at the ocean, thinking of how best he could satisfy the crew.... Oh yes. He remembered. He had promised a plunder! He strode over to the wheel and pulled out a map from his pocket and looked at it. Using a compass, he pin-pointed the ships position and discovered that a small island town was nearby. He smiled, showing yellowing teeth, and his head whipped up to look over the deck at the crew. "Tonight boys, we plunder!" he threw up his hands as the crew's faces alighted at the sound of a good plunder. They cheered and Barbossa grinned to himself - the perfect captain! He thought, his plumed hat swaying gently in the breeze.
